From 3D product design to a functional AR tool
Vectary: What new business opportunities has this opened up for you?
Michal: Simply put, it has provided an innovative solution to hundreds of potential real estate agents.
It's better not to get lost in details but to place the building in the environment where you want to live. That's the point. We're counting on real estate agents using this when showing plots: "You can't build a regular house here, but look - I've got this solution on my phone. We can try it right here. You can have this building immediately, or in one month they can bring and deploy it here, and you can start living on this spot."
Vectary: So AR helped you create that emotional connection for the buyer?
Michal: Yes, it did! People are more likely to say yes to something if they have an emotional connection to it. With Augmented Reality, you can imagine it immediately, and that makes people feel more comfortable with making a purchase decision.
You can test-drive a car, but you can't "test" a building on a plot. And our buildings are too big to have physical mock-ups that can be easily transported to different locations. So AR is like a test drive.
It is very close to having a digital twin, but in your pocket. And we plan to add features like turning lights on and off or changing interior parts, to make it better and even more exact.
Vectary: Do you see any other applications for the future?
Michal: In the next phase, we want to have our flagship product as an interactive model on our site for our customers to be able to change the color and the design of the box, add extras like two terraces in the front, or choose different interiors. We want to make it customized and more personalized when people are browsing the site and deciding whether this is the right option for them.
